HOW TO SUBMIT A CLASSIFIED AD

ON MULELAND.COM

To Submit a Classified Ad you have to be a Registered Seller. If you don't already have a Username and password, you will have to REGISTER first.  To learn more about Registering – click here.

TERMS OF USE Classified Ads will be reviewed prior to posting. Classified Ads not conforming to our Terms of Use may be modified or rejected.  Please read our Terms of Use before continuing.

SUBMIT YOUR CLASSIFIED AD
After Registering, start at the MANAGE ADS menu.

LOGIN or SUBMIT CLASSIFIED AD and fill in the information for your Ad:

PICTURES

• Select up to 9 PICTURES (thumbnails will be created automatically:
  • the first picture will be on the listing overview
  • all 9 pictures will be on the detail page (see above for more information) IMAGE SPECS:
    • file size must be less than 100kb
    • 72 ppi
    • large image dimensions will be automatically downsized to:
      • 640 pixels wide for horizontals
      • 640 pixels high for verticals

CLASSIFIED AD PROMOTION LEVEL

• Select the level you want to purchase (see above for details)

ENTER ITEM INFORMATION

• Enter the NAME of your mule, donkey, product or service

• Enter the Mule/Donkey's AGE, HEIGHT (program will add HH),
  GENDER & PRICE (program will add $)

• Add a detailed DESCRIPTION – the first part (300 chars) will appear on the listing overview & the complete description (4096 chars) will be on the detail page.

• VIDEO – Add information about your YouTube Video:
  • Upload your video to YouTube
  • Enter the YouTube Embed Code to show the video on the detail page of your Ad:
    To get the YouTube embed code:
    - Find your video on YouTube
    - Click the Share button below the video
    - This will display more information:
    …. Click on the Embed button – the embed code will be displayed in the box below
    …. Uncheck the "Show suggested videos when the video finishes"
    …. Check the "Use old embed code"
    …. Click on the size box 425 x 349 (maximum size permitted within a Classified Ad)
    …. Copy and paste the embed code into the YouTube Video box on MuleLand Submit Ad page. 

    You can copy the embed code from YouTube when you first upload your video – at that time it should be displayed in their old format.

    PLEASE NOTE:  YouTube frequently changes the way it presents this type of information so these instructions may not work the same way at a later date.  If you discover that YouTube has made changes again, please Contact Us so we can update our instructions.

    MuleLand does not support iframes for user submitted classified ads on our website.  The use of iframes would, for example, allow someone to display another website (regardless of content) within our web pages making it appear as though it was part of MuleLand.com.  This misrepresentation and misuse of our website is in breach of our Terms of Use and is not acceptable.
    …. To know if you have the correct code, it should start with "<object" and not "<iframe".

AGREE TO GUARANTEE
- Click on "MuleLand Seller's Guarantee" to read the guarantee
- Check the "Yes, I agree to Seller's Guarantee" (or Cancel if you don't want to continue).

VALIDATE THE FORM
- Enter the words & characters displayed in the box.
Note: This identifies you as a person and helps prevent illegal automated access to our website and helps protect the privacy of your information.
Tip: If you are not sure what the words are, click the reload button next to the distorted words to display a different set of characters.

CREATE YOUR AD
- Click OK
Your Ad has been successfully created. It will be submitted for approval as soon as you complete the payment process.

PURCHASE ITEMS / CHECKOUT
- Your selected Upgraded Promotion Level Price, the Standard Price and the total for your Ad will be displayed.
- Click on the "Check out with PayPal" button (note: you don't need a PayPal account to pay by credit or debit card).

PAYMENT
- You can either pay using your PayPal account or to pay by Credit/Debit Card
…. simply click on "Credit Card" and enter your credit card information.
- Complete the payment process & print your receipt (a copy will be emailed to you)
…. click on Return to MuleLand.
- Your Purchase History will be displayed
…. click on details for you transaction information.
- You will be notified by email when your Classified Ad has been approved and is online.
….approval will typically take 2- 5 business days.  During this time you will be able to view & update your Profile when you are logged in.
